9/28: 5:00 - 9: 00 pm closing reception (complimentary passed champagne and light snacks, plus cash bar)

Artist Biography

Bettina Madini is an artist and designer from Europe. She has lived and worked in the Midwest since 2004.

Bettina studied Fine Art in Luxembourg at the Ecole d'Art Contemporain with Hean-Marc Tosello, and in New York City at the National Academy of Fine Art and Design. There, She had the honor to learn from masters such as Susan Shatter, Sharon Sprung, Henry Finckelstein and Wolf Kahn. Her search for expressive color and light has led her on a journey with different media, which are universes to her.

Bettina has been creating art for almost 20 years and has a very deep collection of painting in watercolors, acrylics, oils, and pastels on paper, canvas and silks. Her work can be viewed at Many people have told Bettina how great it would be to wear her art, and so she's been on a journey to create wearable art, which culminated in launching her Magical Bodies designer wearables in 2018.

In addition to painting and wearables, Bettina has also ventured into the world of silk painting with great success. Bettina's painting can be found in corporate and private collections in Europe, Austrailia, Canada, China and the United States.

Gallerie M is located on the first floor of the InterContinental Milwaukee and features inspiring local and regional artwork. InterContinental Milwaukee curates the space on a rotating basis. Exhibits will be on display for 4 to 6 weeks with an Opening Night Reception on a date of the artist's choosing.
